When and where is this year’s conference?

The 2024 conference will be at the Riverside Convention Center in St. Cloud, MN on October 15th - 16th!

Who attends this conference?

Is this conference in-person or virtual?

The MN Prevention Program Sharing Conference is an in-person conference, but we do record all sessions. All registered attendees will have access to session recordings for 1 year following the conference, and, if you are not able to attend in-person, you can also register for Recorded-access Only at a discounted rate.

How much does registration cost?

registration cost by ticket type: regular registration is $180 before June 1st or $200 after, Group registration is $160, Student Registration is $108 before June 1st or $120 after, presenter registration is free, recorded-access only is $50.

How much does it cost to exhibit?

The cost for an exhibit booth at this year’s conference is $270. Community Coalitions (or community groups doing unfunded work around substance misuse in their local communities) are eligible to exhibit for free. Learn more at mnprc.org/exhibitors.

Do you have special rates for students or groups?

Yes! See the table above.

What discounts and scholarships are available?

We don’t want cost to be a barrier to attendance, so we do offer scholarships, as well as special rates for groups, students, presenters and volunteers. You can complete a scholarship application here. Scholarships are reviewed on at least a monthly basis starting in April.

Can I get a travel stipend?

Unfortunately we are not able to offer these at this time.

​

When is the registration deadline?

The registration deadline will be in September 27, 2024! We appreciate you working with this deadline, as there are several important details to coordinate for in-person events, and making sure we have the right amount of space, food and resources for each and every person is very important to us!

How do I apply to speak at the conference?

A call for proposals for conference speakers will open April 2024 and close in June 2024!

Can youth apply to present at the conference?

Yes! We have had excellent presentations from students engaged with prevention work at past conferences, and would be thrilled to feature more sessions where session attendees get to hear directly from youth involved in the implementation and development of prevention programming!

LOGISTICS

Where can I find lodging for this year’s conference?

We have reserved a room block at several hotels near the conference venue. Find more information about room blocks at this year’s conference at mnprc.org/conference.

What kind of food is available at this year’s conference?

We will provide catered breakfast and lunch, as well as coffee and water throughout the day. Snacks will also be provided. We usually host a networking event the first evening of the conference where light appetizers are provided. Dinners are not provided. You can indicate any dietary restrictions or accommodations when you register.

What CEUs are available to me?

We will offer Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), MN Certification Board, and MN Board of Social Work credits for attending the conference in person. We are always looking into new options and types of CEU's to offer.

Where can I request accommodations?

Email madeline@ansrmn.org to request any accommodations you may need, and we will do our best to honor your request. There will also be an opportunity to request accommodations when you register.

I love going to Program Sharing every year! Is there anything I can do to help this year’s conference run smoothly?

Yes! We are always looking for volunteers to help with day-of support including moderating breakout sessions, and helping with registration or set-up. Volunteers will be eligible for special registration rates. If you are interested in volunteering at this year’s conference contact MPRC’s Events Manager, Madeline Bremel, madeline@ansrmn.org.
