Ben will explore commercial marijuana as it exists in America today, how it differs from what we knew in the past and hazards substance use disorders stemming from high potency THC products. Ben spends considerable time working with labor groups as well professional and collegiate sports leagues dealing with marijuana and substance use issues and is known for his direct & no-nonsense messaging regarding marijuana.

About the Speaker

Ben Cort has been part of the recovery movement in almost every way imaginable from a recipient of services to a spokesperson to a respected professional inside of the treatment industry. Sober since 1996 he has seen the devastation that substance misuse can bring first hand as well as the joy that is recovery.

These free virtual sessions will last 60 minutes. They will feature speakers and national subject matter experts in their field form HIDTA National Marijuana Initiatives Speakers Bureau.
