Let’s be honest—it can be overwhelming to try to gain funding and build community partnerships in order to implement successful prevention strategies. It requires certain persuasive techniques that don’t come naturally to many of us. But those skills can be learned, which means you can be much more comfortable getting buy-in from key partners.
In this specialized workshop, you’ll learn simple, clear techniques for telling the right story the right way and clarifying your message to inspire action. You’ll work on your real-world talk tracks and get lots of interactive coaching from story and messaging specialist David Mann. This seminar is all about your growth—it’s not a “sit and listen” event. You’ll walk out with tools that will help you feel comfortable and empowered every time you have to get investment for a prevention strategy.
This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and to receive up to 6 total Category I continuing education contact hours. There are no maximum advanced-level continuing education contact hours available for this training.
