About
Appropriate for anyone working in the field of substance abuse prevention, this interactive, case-based course invites participants to explore the six principles of the Prevention Code of Ethics. A four-step decision-making process, designed to help practitioners navigate the ethical dilemmas they face, will also be discussed and applied. This 8 hour course meets the ethics training requirement for prevention professional certification, and is approved for credits from the Board of Social work.
It is recommended that Ethics in Prevention participants complete the Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training (SAPST) prior to this training or be currently working or volunteering in the field of substance abuse prevention.
Cost
$100
Includes training materials, breakfast, lunch, and refreshments.
Refund Policy
All refunds will be charged a 10% ($10) administrative fee for refunds. Refunds will issued up to 7 days before the training.
